Opportunity

Templeton Advisors is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Tax Administrator to join our public accounting team. This role is central to our tax department operations, managing the assembly, processing, and digital filing of client tax returns. The ideal candidate comes from a CPA environment and will ensure administrative workflows run smoothly, deadlines are met, and client communication remains seamless throughout the tax season and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tax Return Processing:
    o Assemble, review, and e-file federal, state, and local tax return
  • Workflow Management:
    o Track the status of client tax returns, meet deadlines, and update internal team members of any changes
  • Billing & Administration:
    o Generate client invoices for tax services, process payments, and maintain secure, confidential digital document information.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of administrative support specifically within a CPA firm or in a public accounting environment.
  • Software: Preferably knowledgeable in proficiency with technology such as CCH Access
